Look Twice

Notice what you notice. A walking photo club in Amsterdam.

Five people walk down the same street and come back with five different cities.

Every week a new place, and none of us knows it well. Rarely the postcard ones — those have already been looked at, and the eye does more work on an ordinary street. We walk, and we notice. I bring the assignments, so we're not shooting at random but looking for something specific. Then we sit with coffee and lay out what each of us found. What we pay attention to says a lot about us.
